ReROOT Site Researcher Shila Anaraki and a friend spent a night sleeping in a tent among refugees at the “Klein Kasteeltje” along the canal in Brussels as an act of protest. They received a warm welcome, but Anaraki writes that they were shocked by the deplorable conditions these men face and the “cold and noisy urban camping” they are forced to endure.
